About · The Experience
Model G20 is an immersive Model United Nations-style summit built around the G20. Instead of generic resolutions, delegates take on the real global agenda — climate action, international finance, the digital economy — step into the shoes of world leaders, and negotiate a shared communiqué by consensus. It’s the MUN experience, with the academic rigour of actual policy-making.
The G20 is where the decisions that move the world are actually made — which is exactly why simulating it teaches more than a mock debate.
Model G20 vs Model UN
Model G20 isn’t Model UN. It simulates how the world’s largest economies actually get things done — by consensus, not a vote.
You work the real G20 agenda — economic stability, climate, trade, digital governance — not generic resolutions.
No majority vote and no veto. Delegates negotiate a shared communiqué — the harder, more real diplomatic skill.
Dual Sherpa & Finance tracks, lobbying, crisis simulations and communiqué drafting — closer to how the summit actually runs.
The delegate journey
Like the best Model UN conferences, the work starts long before you arrive — and continues after you leave.
Delegates get a research pack and track brief, choose their country and committee, and write a position paper — arriving prepared, not cold.
Three days of debate, negotiation and drafting at FLAME University — moving from opening statements to a signed communiqué.
Standout white papers are published through One Young India, top delegates present at the Asia Society Policy Institute, and every delegate leaves with a certificate and a network.
