Model G20 vs Model UN
Model G20 isn’t Model UN. It simulates how the world’s largest economies actually get things done — by consensus, not a vote. If you love Model UN (MUN), you’ll be right at home — the debate, committees and delegate roles are familiar; the agenda and the consensus format are what make it different.
Absolutely. Delegates get a research pack, a track brief and position-paper support before the summit, so first-timers arrive prepared. Many of our strongest delegates started with Model G20 as their first conference.
You work the real G20 agenda — economic stability, climate, trade, digital governance — not generic resolutions.
No majority vote and no veto. Delegates negotiate a shared communiqué — the harder, more real diplomatic skill.

No — delegates arrange their own travel to Pune. Fees do include food and lodging on campus for the 3 days.

Delegates are assigned to working groups across the Sherpa and Finance tracks by the first week of June 2027, covering issues like climate action, international finance and the digital economy.
